AUDITION FOR THE 2026 SEASON!
The Music Theatre of Idaho (MTI) has been a cornerstone of the Treasure Valley theatre community for 28 years. We produce seven shows annually. While the commitment is substantial, MTI showcases some of the finest local talent. Auditions held in September determine casting for the entire 2026 season. To be considered for any 2026 productions, you must participate in the September 2025 auditions.
What to Expect as a Member of the MTI Company:

Collaborate with some of Idaho’s most
pre-eminent artists -
Rehearse up to five evenings a week (depending on casting), Monday - Friday, starting at 6:30 p.m, in a professional environment

Participate in ensemble work as part of every production

Receive training from degreed professionals

Commit to performing in a minimum of two productions per season

All actors auditioning for MTI must prepare two songs from the approved list. To view the list, please follow the audition registration link. Audition Prep is not required, but is encouraged for anyone looking to gain confidence, experience, and grow their skills before auditions.
Why MTI?

Three years ago we moved into a brand-new 5,000 square foot facility that houses our offices, rehearsals, shop and Academy classes. It also stores all of our scenery, props, and costumes, most of which we make in house. The size of the facility allows us to rehearse on our sets as we build them and leave plenty of room for other activities.
The shop portion allows us to build at any time, so we now rehearse Monday-Thursday evenings, with Work-Calls on Friday evenings. Other than the occasional dance rehearsal and move in week, the weekends will remain empty!
